17th July 2014  Vol 5 No 37 Dear Parents What a brilliant year since September 2013 – A brilliant Alton Castle residential experience for our year 6 in September, a successful open day last October, where our children were wonderful ambassadors A well organised Christmas Fayre and successful Summer Fayre organised by the Friends of St Gabriel’s A series of wonderful nativity plays and a moving Carol Service in preparing for Christmas Two successful Sacramental programmes with beautiful celebrations of First Holy Communion and a joint parish Sacrament of Confirmation led by His Grace Archbishop Bernard Longley   More than 70 of our pupils involved in singing, drumming and performing at the world renowned Birmingham Symphony Hall   A number of children in years 1, 2,3,4,5 and 6 benefiting of precise intervention classes in Numeracy to boost their confidence with Maths
