At St Gabriel’s we have two Reception classrooms which have been designed to offer a range of challenging open-ended activities and a combination of adult led and independent learning opportunities.
We offer free flow between the two reception classrooms and provide a calm environment with areas to play, explore and investigate. Each classroom has a quiet reading den, role-play and home corner, creative area, and a range of activities to support all 7 areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
We have a newly resourced outdoor area which includes a new reading shed, outdoor furniture and large stone pit to enhance learning opportunities. The children love to explore our garden area, growing and investigating the natural world and challenge themselves on the outdoor play equipment.
