Year 1 is an exciting and important year in your child’s learning journey. It marks the transition from the Early Years curriculum into Key Stage 1, where children begin to build the foundations for reading, writing and maths. We continue to nurture curiosity, independence and confidence while introducing more structured learning in a gentle, supportive way.

Our Year 1 staff are committed to working closely with parents and carers. If you would like to speak with us, you are welcome to talk to the staff at the end of the school day or arrange a meeting through the school office.
