Year 5 is an exciting and important stage in your child’s learning journey. As they move into the upper years of Key Stage 2, children begin to take on greater responsibility, develop deeper understanding across the curriculum and prepare for the increased expectations of Year 6. This year provides valuable opportunities for pupils to strengthen their independence, build resilience and grow in confidence as learners. They will encounter more challenging concepts, apply their skills in a wider range of contexts and continue to develop the maturity needed for the final stages of primary school.
