How are SEND children supported in the subject?
Every lesson has an instructional video to visually and auditorily explain and introduce the task. Children can re-watch this as often as possible and children can click on “hints” to help answer part of the task if they need additional support. Lower case keyboards are available for children with SEND. The computing tools available in school can also help children to access their learning in other subject areas and are utilised as appropriate.
How often is Computing taught?
Children are taught computing for at least 1 hour per week in year groups 1-6.
